Seed Collectors

Organic Matters buys fresh provenance seed that has been collected locally, correctly labelled and cleaned by suitably qualified people.
Seed must be collected in accordance with 'Florabank' guidelines. No seed is to be collected from National Parks and permissions must be obtained to collect from property owners.
Collectors must have qualifications in Botany.
Organic Matters has information on ripening times for local species and where those species can be found and will provide collectors with a list of species and provenances to collect for each month. These lists would be an order request.
Seed is purchased in grams. The price paid depends on the species. Seed is inspected and weighed here and payment is made by cheque.
